Hi, I'm Rod Dutra, the creator of Greeting Card Writer

I have always struggled with greeting cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. In fact, I still have a few blank cards sitting in my drawer that I could never bring myself to write because I was too concerned about expressing my feelings elegantly.
I wanted to show my loved ones that I cared, but I always struggled with transforming my thoughts and feelings into beautiful, heartfelt card messages. The blank page would stare back at me, and I'd worry about finding the right words, the perfect sentiment, or the most authentic way to express what was in my heart.
So I built myself a little workflow using AI specifically designed to write great card messages. This journey started back in 2021 during the original beta release of OpenAI's then-revolutionary GPT-3 Large Language Model (LLM), which was incredible at the time but terrible by today's standards, and I've been improving on it ever since to scratch my own itch.
But then I realized there are probably more people out there like me who struggle with transforming their thoughts and feelings into beautiful, heartfelt card messages to others. So I decided to share this with the world.
My goal is not to remove the authenticity and integrity of card messages. Instead, I want to help people express themselves more meaningfully. Most of the time when people write cards, they simply write something generic and focus only on the act of giving someone a card rather than the message itself. This tool is designed to help both those who struggle to write cards at all, and those who do write cards but want to do it better and more meaningfully, letting AI help package their genuine thoughts and feelings into beautiful yet authentic messages.
Yes, you can just ask ChatGPT to make you a card message, but it's usually very generic and not very personalized unless you put in the effort to tell it exactly how it should write. That's what I've packaged up in Greeting Card Writer for you – all the prompting and fine-tuning to create truly personalized, heartfelt messages.
I'm making this available completely free and covering the AI costs out of my own pocket until it becomes popular enough that I need to worry about covering those expenses. My priority is helping people connect with their loved ones, not making money.
